A brief overview of some of the referral service offerings you can look forward to.
Our psychologists can assist with psychological assessments e.g. cognitive ability, personality, aptitude, etc, and treatment of anxiety, stress or depression, addictions, pain management, parenting skills and behavioural problems.
Counsellors are primarily responsible for counselling and psychotherapy of persons who experience distress and profound life changes. Issues that can be addressed are depression, anxiety, grief and life skills to cope with life changes and development of self advocacy skills.
Occupational therapists treat injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. They help these patients develop, recover, improve, as well as maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
Podiatrists are healthcare professionals who have been trained to diagnose and treat abnormal conditions of the feet and lower limbs. They also prevent and correct deformity, keep people mobile and active, relieve pain and treat infections.
Exercise physiologists analyse their patients’ fitness in order to help them improve their health or maintain good health.They help patients with heart disease and other chronic conditions, like diabetes or pulmonary (lung) disease, to regain their health.
